The Southside Parishes and St. Mary School were recently awarded two grants from the Catholic Foundation. The first grant in the amount of $10,000 will be used to assist with the purchase and installation of an enhanced security system for the St. Mary School and Parish buildings. This project will help to provide state of the art controls to ensure the safety of students, staff, parishioners, and guests using these facilities. The second grant, in the amount of $5,000 is for the Southside – Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. These funds will be used to assist with the purchase of materials for Family Masses, retreats, and sacramental preparation.
