VOCATIONS CROSS – What is it?
This beautiful bronze crucifix was obtained by St. Mary Church to travel from home to home to promote prayer for vocations to the Priesthood and Religious life. A family or member of the parish would keep this crucifix for one month beginning with the first Sunday of the month and ending on the last Sunday of the month. We can do the exchanges at the weekend Masses. There are sample prayers that can be used, or make up your own or just say a Rosary, but all for the intention of God showering our Diocese of Columbus with many good and holy priests and religious! We are in crisis. The only way out is through prayer!
If you would like to host the Vocations Cross for a month, call or text Lori Mitchell at 614-204-4698. We need host families or members starting with the first Sunday in May 2022.
Questions to ponder and pray with while in possession of the Vocations Cross in your home:
Our World Has A Great Need --
- Who will bring Christ to us through the Eucharist at Mass?
- Who will baptize our children into the Catholic Faith?
- Who will hear our confessions and be at our sides when we die?
- Who will perform the marriages of our children and grandchildren?
- Who will preach the Gospel to us and teach us to be good as Christ asks?
Who will be our Priests? Who will be our Deacons? ... Perhaps God is asking YOU to help US! We have a Great NEED!
