The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal service organization which involves itself in church, community, council, and family and youth activities. The Knights of Columbus were founded in 1882 on the principle of unity, charity, and fraternalism. Involvement in the Knights of Columbus requires participation in at least one meeting per month, service to a committee and/or holding a leadership position in the organization.
