Letter from Fr. Vince  (4/16/23)

Dear Corpus Christi and St. Ladislas parishioners,
We’d like to share with you an update from Fr. Vince regarding the closure of your parish. The Real Presence, Real Future recommendation to close Corpus Christi and St. Ladislas Churches and merge them into St. Mary Church was unanimously approved by the Presbyteral Council and forwarded to Bishop Fernandes. Bishop Fernandes has accepted the recommendation. The decree is effective July 1, 2023. Please find Fr. Vince’s letter below. May the Lord continue to bless us during this time of transition. Estimados feligreses de Corpus Christi y San Ladislao,

Nos gustaría compartir con ustedes una actualización del Padre Vince sobre el cierre de su parroquia. La recomendación de Presencia Real, Futuro Real de cerrar las iglesias de Corpus Christi y San Ladislao, y fusionarlas con la iglesia Santa Maria, fue aprobada por unanimidad por el Consejo Presbiteral y enviada al obispo Fernandes. El obispo Fernandes ha aceptado la recomendación. Esto sera efectivo el 1 de julio de 2023. Encuentre la carta de Padre Vince a continuación.
