Altar Servers
Girls and boys, fifth grade or older, are trained for this ministry by Fr. Vince Nguyen. They assist the celebrant at Saturday and Sunday Mass, Holy Day liturgies, funerals, weddings and other liturgies as needed. Adult parishioners may also serve.
Fr. Vince will provide Altar Server training sessions for students interested in becoming servers. Training usually happens in late Fall.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Confirmed parishioners, 16 years of age or older, assist in the distribution of Communion at Mass, to the home bound and to those in nursing homes. New Extraordinary ministers need to be trained and prepared for this ministry. Ministers are scheduled on a rotating basis; the schedule is distributed and is also available on the parish website.
Gift Bearer
Gift Bearers actively participate in the celebration of the Mass by presenting the gifts of bread and wine at the altar and require no special skill or permanent ministerial duty.

These ministers enhance the celebration of the Liturgy by proclamation of the Word of God. This ministry is open to men and women who are comfortable proclaiming God’s Word to an assembly and have a clear speaking voice.

Adult parishioners gather in the church vestibule to welcome and give assistance to parishioners and visitors, prior to and during liturgies, in order to foster an atmosphere of hospitality. Greeters and ushers are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of mass to welcome parishioners and visitors and answer questions.
